Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe discovering a city through its locals is the best way to experience it and is a great way of meeting foreign people!

That, and you get to the real heart of the city, avoiding the touristy stuff, all the while making it a more personal experience thanks to your host :)

What pikes my interest daily can range from Music, Graphic Design, to Modern Art & Web & social culture.
I also love to go hiking when I'm in the mountains and/or biking when I'm in the city or countryside.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to way too much music daily to list it all here, but my favorites at the moment would be Indie, Electronic, Rock, Folk & Jazz music (I know, that's already pretty eclectic).
Mostly a fan of 60's/70s as well as modern music, I don't get much of what was going on in the 80's to be honest.

As for movies, I go there at least once a week, and I usually pick the "outsider" movie, that's thinking outside of the box and preferably a bit light-hearted, rather than the blockbuster or the depressing drama.

Books are what save me in the metro or during long travels! Lately, I've been reading Wilde, Murakami and Herman Koch, to name a few.
