ABOUT ME

I'm headed to grad school for journalism in the fall, so in May I left my job as communications manager at a sustainable agriculture nonprofit to take some time off, hang out with my family and travel. I'm currently traveling across the USA on an Amtrak Rail Pass.

I'm a traveler, reader, student, friend, sister, daughter and observer, and I often eat and think too much.

PHILOSOPHY

We all have a responsibility to look out for each other and take care of each other. And to try to have a good time doing it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After graduating from college, I took trains and couchsurfed all over Europe with a friend. We had an amazing time and met some great people.

兴趣

I love to read, sing, write, try new foods and beers, cook, bake and be outdoors, especially underwater. I'm interested in movies, TV, scuba diving, and I love to listen to podcasts like the Dinner Party Download and This American Life.

I'm also a vegan, which has gotten me really interested in cooking all kinds of food from all over the world.

While scuba diving in Australia, my friends and I ran into a few Minke whales that swam with and around us for a while.
