About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Understand the world a little better.

ABOUT ME

I am a young girl, born and raised mainly in Mexico City. As high school was about to finish and I was mentally preparing for college, I decided I needed more time to prepare. So me and my boyfriend started planning a trip starting in our own precious Mexico, then flying to Argentina and making it back up from there.
In this long trip I want to accomplish many things: read, have fun, read, have fun, read, read and read some more and then read all the books and authors of the Latin American Boom and understand the cultures and history of the places I visit, understand the people, meet people that will change my life, watch the best movies of the countries I visit, enlarge my culture and as a result expand my vision of the world and my sense of possibility.

PHILOSOPHY

‘’An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world’’- Gorge Santayana

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to travel from Buenos Aires all the way up to Colombia with my boyfriend and we could definitely use some advise and support!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roger Waters concert and attending a French school without speaking any French.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach French, advanced Spanish and English as a second language. I enjoy interacting with children, helping them with school and homeworks.
A very important goal for this trip is to read as many books as I possibly can, including all the main ones form the Latin American Boom. I would love it if someone joined me on my task so we could have conversations on them. I am also looking to learn other languages!
