About Me

Hi. I grew up in Hong Kong, was educated in the UK and have worked in several countries (in Japan and Malaysia the longest). I’m based in Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, but currently I’m a digital nomad travelling, writing my thesis and working in the mental health field.

I like to explore hidden places when travelling, and collect rare items haha.

I am friendly, chilled, curious, spontaneous and very open minded.

I like backpacking, it makes me feel alive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked into Sahara alone at 2am to see the Milky Way! Best experience ever!

Camino. walked 101 km to Santiago de Compostela in 4 days!

I survived a 10-day meditation in Myanmar (12 hours of meditation every day, 10 days of complete silence, needed to wake up at 4am to start meditating, no dinner....) I made it! (Half-dead though...Hahahaa)

Later I met a funny monk. I decided to follow him to his hometown which is near Bagan. It is an isolated and old village with no electricity, no phone signal....the people there are very simple and happy. It was one of the best travel experience!

In 2014, I saw the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in my whole life. It was the salt flat in Bolivia. And the galaxy.

In 2016 July, I was living in the mountains in Shikoku. Within 3 weeks, I successfully built a goat house. It was my first time to build a house. Hope it won't fall anytime soon lol. Here is a video of the whole building process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtYWZpl4H_A
