About Me
My mind goes white as snow when I have to talk about myself in general terms. All I can come with is my name, age and nationality, but since that´s already in the profile, I´ll try to go a little further:
I´ve been living in Cork for more than 2 years. I wouldn´t dare to say that I love it (as a proper Mediterranean being the weather is driving me bananas...) but I think I´ll stay a little bit longer. I dwell in a little apartment with my brother and my dog, Onion.
Now, Onion is the reason I had to shut my couch up a while ago and also the reason I´m accepting guests again. She´s the cutest and sweetest thing you can imagine, but she has some issues with strangers and she just barks at them like a mad dog. The key is to ignore her completely until she gets used to the new element, but I´m aware this is something that not everybody is willing to go through. So, I´ve opened the couch again to see if she gets better by increasing the flow of strangers that pass by my house. Hence, DO NOT REQUEST MY COUCH IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF DOGS, please!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed in when I moved to Ireland because I wanted to travel but I didn´t have enough money, and also because I loved the concept and I thought it would be the best way to discover the country. Due to my job I can´t travel anymore, but I think hosting people who are travelling is a bit like doing it without moving out of town.
Interests
Offhand I´d say I have many interests, but now that I think about it most of the time I fantasize with learning new things or doing cool stuff while I do something else. Yes, I´m a daydreamer. But there is couple of things I´m actually into right now: I´m learning chinese from my boss in a informal way, which is pretty fun, and I paint every now and then. I also love creating, fixing and customizing things (or thinking about it!).
