About Me

I've studied landscape ecology over the past years and now I'm starting my Masters in Sustainable regional and urban developement in the beautiful city of Graz. For me it's very important to end up doing something meaningful with my life. I hope that with my studies I'll be able to actively change the way people are living together to achieve a sustainable future.
I am a creative person, I like to sing and make music in general as well as painting or drawing or dancing... unfortunately I haven't been taking enough time for those things lately, but I'm planning on doing better in the future :) I enjoy hiking and being outside, especially in the mountains.
Sometimes I'm a rather quiet person who hides behind a book but that doesn't mean that I don't like the company of people! I enjoy meeting different people and sharing experiences and a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer getting to know a country not only from the touristy side and couchsurfing is just the perfect way for that. It is so interesting to get to know people and their homes, just to see different styles of living and to learn from it. Couchsurfing is a way of sharing and sharing more will change the way we live together. When I will have the opportunity later on in my life I would also really like to host people, but right now it doesn't work out unfortunately.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite a fan of weird stuff like Matt Ruff, Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams, Haruki Murakami... and Adventure Time is the best series ever, in my opinion :)
also: all the Studio Ghibli movies.
I enjoy reading about philosophy and psychology... and discussing about it. I like discussing anyway... it's especially interesting in my experience to get to know the view of people of other countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking on a glacier in Austria under a clear blue sky and bright sunlight, listening to the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like cooking (especially Asian food and ususally vegan) and baking and I've already enjoyed sharing it with my hosts :)
