Hi! I'm a 30 year old engineer from Stockholm, stuck in Umeå for the last 2 years. I like meeting new people and getting to know them, and when I'm alone for a little while I get really socially needy (not sure what the English word for it is). But in my heart I'm just another awkward, introverted engineering person.

I'm also a vegan, an abstainer, and a high level social justice warrior. I'm great at starting projects, which usually involves my plants and/or my soldering iron, and I'm equally great at not finishing them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was couchsurfing with friends in England a few years ago, but then life got in the way. Really liked that adventure though, and the people I met on that trip.

I listen to mostly classic rock and pop (like really classic, what most of my friends' dads listen to).

I love reading, and I'm really an omnivore when it comes to books (not to be confused with food!!), even though I have a little predisposition towards science fiction and fantasy.

I watch whatever's new on Netflix (kinda), and I complain a lot about Hollywood even though I devour anything they throw my way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the Grand Canyon. I wish I had something original to say here, but that really was an amazing experience.
