Overview
About Me
Gay guy, scientist, overthinker, photography lover, and sometimes very talkative, no very dramatic, respectful, beer lover. I was born in Colombia (close to the sea), but big part of my live I lived in the mountains (Bogota). I did study there (chemistry), and my style life and aesthetics tastes are enormously shaped by Bogota. During my university studies I was curious about other cultures, so I travelled a bit around, I did an Erasmus in Barcelona, and did a couple of trips around Europe and the US. Normally, when I visit a new place is because of a book or a movie. For instance, I visited New York because I spent a whole summer reading Salinger. I am an artistic person (more in the side of critics and art philosophy), but I am an amateur photographer (mostly with my phone, or analog).
I prefer the beach over the mountains, the yellow and the blue of the landscape, separated, and I love the taste of Arabic food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After travelling and having different kind of experiences, I decided that should be nicer to know new local people to share, smile, talk and explore... something from the soul.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: many, many, many, infinite... I watch movies mostly everydays, and I repeat them… but let’s say that my fav director is Almodóvar.
Literature: I like a broad variant of authors from around the world, including Asian literature (Kawabata, Japan), North American literature (Salinger, Auster, Steinbeck, Fitzgerald...), Latin American Contemporary (Trino Maldonado) and more classics ( Cortázar, García Márquez, Fuentes, Espinosa...). Recently, also into philisophy philosophy.
Music? Oh god, everything too. Let’s play something with a glass of wine.
