About me ?

Well I'm French, I come from a very small village, I have a master of literature but I also studied philosophy, art history and a little bit of literary sociology because I was never able to focus on one field of studies, I practiced theater 10 years, I traveled a lot because I was lucky, I'm pretty tall, I love laughing but I laugh really loudly.

I am currently teaching French as an assistant at the crazily beautiful liberal arts college St Mary's College of Maryland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is not just about seeing, it's about seeing and experiencing ! And couchsurfing is a way to visit places but also to live with people, and that's my favorite part in traveling !

Interests

Needless to say I like traveling as everybody on couchsurfing,
I like hearing and learning about different cultures
I like reading, watching movies, running, kayaking, cycling in cities I know and walking in cities I don't know,
I like good wine, dance parties and yoga
I like the Irish's sense of humor,
I prefer small cities to big cities,
But above all, what I love is when people tell me stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one year in Ireland in 2012-2013 and I am currently living in the United States.
I've been to England, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Turkey, Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach :
- how to dance on DISCO music
- French stuff : bonjour, cooking, cursing, complaining and organizing a successful strike
- few basic yoga positions

I want to learn :
- how to make vegetables and fruits grow and have a big garden
- how to knit
- how to speak German, Arabic and Russian

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, my experiences, what I've learnt, the recipe of the most delicious chocolate cake in the world, my bad jokes, my enthusiasm, my cigarettes if I have some.
