Overview
About Me
I am a student who travels to find my own place in the world. I am open minded for any scenario of my future life and can't exclude moving to Asia or a random small island on a Pacific. So my only way to check if it will suit me is to travel to Asia and a random small island on a Pacific — and see on my own.
That's why my life is divided in two parts – travelling and waiting for the next travel. I calculate the time from one travel to another and I feel sick when I don't have the next one already planned.
I also like setting myself life goals. It could be something trivial like being fluent in two foreign languages, or more complicated like writing a scientific paper or making friends from all continents.
My next life goal: to travel transsiberian railway on 2015.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travelling with locals is far superior than any type of travelling on your own. I know it may sound like cliché, but I have experienced it many times in both styles and meeting people from my destination let me discover new tastes, sounds and culture in a way I would never be able to do without them.
Travels have created the person I am now. And still are changing me.
Hearing many examples of my friends' perfect couchsurfing experience I want to jump into this society as a next level of travelling. I hope it will let me know the world better, understand it better, and finally I will ask myself: "How could I not try it earlier?"
Interests
I love cooking and everything connected with local cuisine. While on travel I try to remember as many tastes I can, so after the journey I can recreate them. This is my way to travel even when I'm home.
I love design in every meaning of the word. I appreciate well designed cities, advertising, websites, everyday objects. When I'm on the go I usually stop for a moment and take picture of a good or bad design examples and then discuss it with friends.
I also love discovering countries that are not so well discovered for average European – for example Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia. So far I can experience them through books, but I hope I will travel there soon. Maybe it could be the next life goal for 2016?
