About Me

Always seeking for impulsive adventures! Meeting people from all walks of life.
I get inspired by travelling, mountains, oceans, I admire other cultures and languages. I love to go to local places and adapt to the place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I admire other cultures and languages, I find it so inspiring to see and experience how others live, eat, talk, there are always beautiful stories to be told. I don't care too much about the must-sees, the hot-spots, I prefer to see and to feel the real and pure culture. To live it like it's lived by the locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Captain Fantastic, Eat Pray Love, La La Land, The Croods, Mr. Nobody, Amélie, Samsara

To me, there are no such things as favorites, I like so many movies, books, colours, foods, people, countries, languages, music, you can't compare apples with oranges, I don't do favorites. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I did a foreign internship as a graphic designer in Bangkok for 6 months, I met wonderful people and worked for an incredibly creative company.

- I taught English in Thailand and lived super locally, squat toilet, cold shower, basically my bedroom was a shed where they fixed motorcycles. Every day I was surrounded by Thai people and I learnt so much more about their culture.

- I couchsurfed in Malaysia and stayed with a Chinese man in his jettyhouse (wooden house above the sea), it was incredible to see how they lived there and the toilet was simply a squared hole in the floor so anything that had to leave your body would fall 1,5 meter down into the sea.

- Spending Christmas with a big Mexican family, hitting piñatas!

- I saw the bioluminiscencia on Isla Holbox, Mexico, simply amazing...

- I started rock climbing in Tonsai, Thailand, and now I've got a climbing addiction!
