Hi! I'm Erik and I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I'm doing an MA in Journalism, finished my BA in Political Science and worked as a freelance journalist. Music, Movies, and Books

To name a few movies: La Grande Bellezza, Moonrise Kingdom, Another Year, The Tree of Life, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Really into series to, mainly political drama's as Borgen, The West Wing and House of Cards. And of course Game of Thrones. :) And many more.
I'm quite random when it comes to music, depends which day you ask me. Overall I listen a lot of Jazz, but I also like Soul, Indie and Folk. To name a few artists: E.S.T., Louis Armstrong, Efterklang, The Bad Plus, Jamie Cullum, Alt-J, The Beatles, The National, Michael Kiwanuka and Rodrigues.
The book I'm reading right now is Jack Keraouc - On The Road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My backpacking trip to Canada was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Met some amazing people and got to see the most epic nature.
