~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m an adventurous friendly dude who you can have all kinds of conversations with and count on, even if we’re strangers. One of the things I enjoy the most is the cultural contrasts you experience when you travel the world or also when you do what I like to call 'reverse traveling', which is meeting people from other countries in your own country, introducing them to your culture and showing them around! I enjoy teaching Mexican expressions, sharing my culture, food, experiences and traditions.
I like adrenaline and outdoor activities and I like sticking my head out of the window on the road. Obviously when I'm not driving.
My mission in life is to live, to be alive, to see the world, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to connect and to feel. I’m fascinated with humanity and the things you learn when you go to far lands (and sometimes not too far). I believe experiences have more meaning than anything else. Having stories to tell is better than having things to show.
Some quotes I live by:
~Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.
~Seize the day.
~Live a life you will remenber.
~Every person you meet serves a purpose.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are destinations and journeys. Every mind is a unique dimension and I like the experience of traveling with locals, meeting new faces, new souls, constant newness. When I discovered Couchsurfing I was impressed by how many people have a similar mindset. For that reason, this is a life changing platform.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 I traveled through the USA by myself, I had many adventures and even went to a SuperBowl for free (long story). I have hiked the Grand Canyon and the Himalayas, traveled through Europe, and lived & traveled around India. I worked at Disney World and also as a boat driver and lifeguard in Maryland, USA. I never stop in my quest of experiences and good memories. That's what we're made of after all.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Spanish, it's my native language. I can also help teach English, I was a middle school English teacher about 3 years ago.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great talks, sharing experiences, stories and a friendly hand. I love getting to know people from around the world and helping them in some way, it's amazing to see a world map and to realize I have friends all over.
