When I was fourteen I wanted to make a smoke bomb, so I bought saltpeter and sugar. When I was home alone I mixed it over a low flame to create a sort of flammable caramel, but I used too much heat in the process and it got out of control. My house was covered in smoke!
I opened every window, turned on every fan, removed all of the explosive caramel leftovers, and prayed the smell would be gone by the time my mom would arrive. Everything went out fine, until some days later when she found out there were burnt spots in the kitchen.
I gave up explosives, but I still like science and I’m currently studying physics and chemistry.

I once saw a black bear steal my food hanging from the tree while wildcamping. He ate about $50 worth of nuts, fruits, about half a kilogram of honey, and so on. The price was worth seeing the imposing animal a few meters away from me and confirming that bears do in fact love honey.
