About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a 27 year old, Bavarian girl studying veterinary medicine in Berlin.
Before I started to study I was backpacking around Central and South America for one and a half years. This was for sure the best time of my life.
I love animals a lot. That's why I'm on a vegan diet for many years now and I'm really happy with it. It's an important part of my life.
And of course, I love travelling and meeting new people!
I would say I'm more of a quiet and shy person, who is always friendly, polite and tries to help other people.

PHILOSOPHY

A man was walking along a deserted beach at sunset. As he walked he could see a young boy in the distance, as he drew nearer he noticed that the boy kept bending down, picking something up and throwing it into the water.
Again and again he kept hurling things into the ocean.

As the man approached even closer, he was able to see that the boy was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach and, one at a time he was throwing them back into the water.

The man asked the boy what he was doing, the boy replied,"I am throwing these washed up starfish back into the ocean, or else they will die through lack of oxygen. "But", said the man, "You can't possibly save them all, there are thousands on this beach, and this must be happening on hundreds of beaches along the coast. You can't possibly make a difference."
The boy looked down, frowning for a moment; then bent down to pick up another starfish, smiling as he threw it back into the sea. He replied,

"I made a huge difference to that one!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly great experiences!
I met so many amazingly nice and generous people with a big heart!!!

Interests

In my freetime I like to go horseback riding. Horses are amazing animals!
And I'm a social dancer as well. I love to dance Salsa cubana, Bachata sensual, Kizomba and Tango.
I like to go hiking in the mountains, ride my bike and go inline skating.
I'm as well into photography. I have a Canon 70d Dslr which I take to most of my trips with me.
In winter I go skiing once in a while.
And after a long day there is nothing better than a good book or series or both 😄

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all the Nicolas Sparks movies, but my favourite ones are "The Notebook" and "A walk to remember".
And "Spirit - The stallion of the Cimmaron", my all time favourite since I'm a little child.

I like all different kinds of music, depending on the mood I'm in.

My favourite books at the moment are from the Outlander Series of Diana Gabaldon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped of a 15 meter high cliff, I touched a shark, I went nightdiving in a sea of stars, I galopped as fast as the wind on the beach without a saddle or bridle.
There are just to many amazing things to name them all here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a big knowedge about the vegan diet I will gladly share with you if interested.
I could also show you a few dance steps and we could go out dancing.
And I can teach German, my first language.

I am open for everything.
I would like to learn how to play the guitar or the piano.
And to improve my surfing and language skills.
So you see there is lots of stuff I still want to do ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Spain
