About Me

About me… I'm explorer by nature: I love learning new things, meeting new people, traveling to new places… I find sources of happiness in small things such as a good book, an interesting conversation, watching the sunset from a cove, a good live song…

I consider myself quite easygoing; I love having fun so I like making others smile, feel comfortable and have fun as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I once attended a university course called "In search of principles for a life philosophy: lessons of Art, History and Economics". It's been my favourite course so far, so I'd like to share these 10 principles which were the final conclusions:

1. Embrace optimism but beware of self-deception. Face the facts and put praise in perspective. Learn to read (to decode) life’s messages and warning signals.

2. Overcome the excessive influence (and the disapproval) of others. Nurture the habit of listening to your inner voice. Slowing down, solitude and silence: consider these your allies.

3. Discover, accept and manage the multiplicity within yourself. Cultivate the different flowers in your garden and diversify your sources of well being. Dance!

4. Feel your power; and use it generously. Better for others is often good for me.

5. Intelligence takes many forms and everyone we meet has something to teach us. Use the Dupin method –an empathic mind- and remember the letter is right in front of you.

6. Facts are facts, but perception is reality: be aware of how they are shaped. Discern and combine both reason and emotion when making decisions; and learn to listen and to trust your intuition.

7. Find a way (your own way) to engage in a close relationship with art, a unique form of happiness that grows with time and patience, and helps you find a balance between mind, heart and soul.

8. Be a disciple, not a prisoner, of your past. Find your balance between present and future: breathe to celebrate the first, and avoid using the second as an excuse: begin now.

9. Explore (it’s right to be wrong!) and have no fear: the reward is certain. Put some distance with yourself to get closer: “there are things about me I still don’t know”. Embrace vulnerability and beware of falling into the trap of comfort.

10. Expect change. Don’t let habits cripple your adaptability; and don’t let your adaptability overlook and subdue your soul. Adversity is inevitable and fruitful.

Interests

I study at a business school, but one of my passions is Art History, so I'm planning to link both fields somehow in the future.

I'm also scout, doing volunteer work with boys and girls aged 5-17, as I love children and amazing landscapes that can be found in nature.

I also like going out, music, drawing, photography, learning languages, ... and I'm learning how to play guitar.
