I am an administrative assistant in a non-profit organisation. However, my passions are reading and writing, films and friends. But probably most of all I like talking to people. I get goose bumps when I manage to connect quickly with someone who lives half the planet away - it gives me a sense of universality, joy and hope.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a couch (I live in a rented room), but I can offer company, a tour of Brussels and cool spots to drink and hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Switzerland with a retired diplomat, so he shared a lot of his own travel stories. The flat was great, and he had so much trust in my friend and me: he gave us a spare key to his flat the very first evening and said: "Come back whenever you want." :)
