ABOUT ME

I am José Carlos, I am from a town in southeastern Brazil. I lived there until I was 23, when I decided to take on the world to pursue my dreams.
I have a degree in Business and has worked as a manager during few years. Then I have started a journey searching for experiences that could help me with my personal growing process, leading me to my main goal: make meaningful contributions to all around me.
My first adventure was to move to Dublin/Ireland, where I lived for two years studying English and performing various functions in several places where I worked, for example as a barista in a coffee shop, as a housekeeper in a hotel, as a cook in a restaurant. During this period, I have already traveled around Europe, knowing different cultures, making new friends and learning many interesting things. I'm a friendly person and always looking for happyness.
Now I work as a cook in a vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Algarve, Portugal.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm in a moment of my life that I want to grow up like a person, discover differents ways of life, meet different people, learn about cultures, travel around the world, practice detachment. There are no rules.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few experiences on couchsurfing when I was living in Dublin, a few people from different places came to my house for a few days, and was really nice!I did a lot of friends.
