ABOUT ME

I´m Sophie. I am 22 years old and studying Translation (German/Russian/English) at the University of Leipzig.
I am very interested in getting to know new people and their cultures! Therefore after finishing school, I lived in Russia for one year to take part in a volunteer programme. I worked with children with special needs. That was a great experience for me!
Back in Germany, I started studying translation. But I missed travelling a lot! ;-) So I did two semesters abroad: one in Bristol in England and one in Kazan in Russia.

I am an open minded person and always like to learn something from people, their cultures and their points of view.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always enjoy meeting the people who really know the place I am travelling to. It is much more interesting for me to see the places that not every tourist is visiting and I love getting to know different cultures!
