Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling with friends. But I also love traveling solo. At least once every two years, I want to spend some time without anyone I know, exploring a country I don't know.
I'm always interested in learning new cultures. I think the best way to do that, is by getting to know locals. Traveling with Couchsurfing enables me to get more out of my travels, and hopefully helps me make new friends!

Why I'm NOT on Couchsurfing:

- Just for a free place to stay. I admit, it's a great perk! But I like meeting new people, I love to get a glimps of a different lifestyle. I like hearing and sharing stories, experiences... I love to share! I'm always willing to donate a contribution (gas, electricity, water, dinner, drinks, ...). But i'm not here just to get a free bed/couch/spot on a floor...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first solo trip was a 4-month trip to the Unites States. I worked as a counselor in a summer camp in Connecticut. After the first three mounts, the summer was over, and I flew to California to do a 4-week long road trip. To this day, one of my best experiences ever!
