About Me

wow. That's hard... Well, first of all, none of the following self-entitled adjectives are 'extremes'. So, I'm shy. But I'm not like super shy. Get it? Ok... I'm geek, shy, rational, open-minded, movies and series fan, potterhead, curious, a little stubborn, like to plan everything ahead, yet love to do everything at random/last minute.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like its ideology. Travelling (if not for work-related things) is - or at least should be- mostly about meeting new cultures, expanding one's mind, seeing wonderful things, experiencing all of it. And how to best do it than to stay at a locals place? And even if it is not a local, another foreigner should be in the same process of experiencing it, so why not exchange impressions and information?

And I will not be a hypocrite: The lower - and sometimes zero - costs do appeal to me too. Yet, I mean everything I said above!

Interests

Culture, History, Science, Movies, Series, Architecture, Culinary, Technology, Games... I'm actually interested in many things. Hey, you can even discuss the weather with me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm very eclectic, but please don't get mad at me for just liking songs and not specific bands. But please present me anything new!

Movies: Harry Potter, Inception, Back to the Future, Star Wars, The Hunger Games, Indiana Jones, Disney-Pixar animations (yes, I admit it u.u), Post apocalyptic, apocalyptic, sci-fi and fantasy movies in general.

Books: Harry Potter (Yeah, yeah. You noticed I'm a fan), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Hunger games, Dom Casmurro... Geez, I better improve this list... please show me some good books D:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've seen or done?

2 months (wish I had more time) Eurotrip alone with low budget.

Lived in Bogota for 2 years with friends. Was amazing. A lot to talk about this experience.

I've seen and done some other stuff as well, so let's talk about it over a beer or coffee =D

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, it's not much, but I can offer multi-subject conversations, a hand in the house to help with whatever one needs, and technology-related support. Practical (unfortunately not artistic) recycling. Not enough? Ok, well... Portuguese practice? Programming/Computer-stuff tips? Actually, just name it and I see what I can do haha

Countries I’ve Visited
