About Me
Hi, I'm Angie!! For 17 years of my life I lived in the suburbs of California and never thought outside that bubble. When I was 17 I moved abroad for the first time and haven't stopped traveling since. I'm now living in my 3rd country (Bolivia, Mexico, now Japan). I'm currently an assistant language teacher teaching English in central Japan.
My hobbies are cooking, running, hiking, rock climbing and yoga.
I'm pescatarian so I don't eat meat but I LOVE trying new foods as long as it doesn't have meat. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like rap music, Latin music (reggaeton, banda, salsa) and listening to calming music while I do yoga or study.
I like to read a lot of travel writing and guide books and Latin American literature. I hope to read more books in Japanese soon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
trained for and ran a half Marathon!
Also I'm half Cuban, going to Cuba to see my cousins for the first time when I was 21 years old was an amazing, eye-opening, very humbling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Spanish or share any travel stories!! Also I'm currently on the journey of learning Japanese.
