Hi my name is Matt and my husbands name is Bobby . I have been couch surfing for 11 years now and it all started during a 9 week backpacking adventure around America . On that trip I was staying in hostels but kept coming across people who told me about Couch Surfing. Couch surfing sounded amazing to , you got to meet people from the actual places you were staying and you got to witness the real town as seen by its residents. I love to travel and I love to meet new people so couch surfing is perfect for me . I am a specialist palliative nurse and my husband Bobby works in the care industry, we are open and considerate people. Myself and my husband both love the theatre, cinema, socialising and making new friends .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As stated above we love to travel and love meeting people from all over the world ! . You can never have too many friends and too many experiences , life is short and we don't want to waste a day .

Interests

Music - Musicals such as Wicked , Les Miserables , Avenue Q , Book of Mormon , Sister Act among many others . Avril Lavigne, Florence and the Machine and generally pop music . Of course there is also a place in my heart for Doris Day , a singer myself and my five brothers and sisters were brought up on .

Backpacked with my husband around China for a month and walked up the Great Wall.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach my guests a little about English cooking and how to take medical observations ;-) as well as the best and cheapest places to eat in the city .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm, laughter and friendship . I would love to be able to spend time with the hosts if they had time . I can also share some language learning experiences , I always try and learn some of the language wherever I go .
