ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Dorota, now I live in Warsaw, where I study at the University of Warsaw.
It's really hard for me to describe myself, but I think I'm friendly, open-minded, easy-going, helpful and I'm laughing a lot. I love spending time with my friends, but I also like meeting new people, visiting new places and learning new things.
I like cooking - with and for my friends. I also love listening to music - especially cuban rhythms.
PHILOSOPHY
"Sapere aude" ("Dare to be wise") - Horace
"Everybody knows that something can't be done and then somebody turns up and he doesn't know it can't be done and he does it" - A. Einstein
but also: more, faster, better ;)
Interests
Spending time with my friends, cooking, drawing, running, listening to music, biking, visiting new places, admiring nature, but also feminism, crisis management and various aspects of terrorism.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to music: especially cuban rhytms (e.g. Buena Vista Social Club, Omara Portuondo), tango (Carlos Libedinsky), Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Michael Buble and many, many others.
I also like reading literary reportages (e.g. reportages written by Wojciech Tochman or Wojciech Jagielski) and books about important issues of the modern world.
I don't watch many movies, because I'm too easily moving by them and can't stop crying - I really hate this! ;) But I've got some favourite movies, like Dirty Dancing and Dirty Dancing Havana Nights, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, A Single Man, The Hours, Philadelphia or Bridget Jone's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
