Overview
About Me
Two things that I need to state clearly beforehand (sorry, but I keep getting requests that don't match):
*I can only host one person per night
*I prefer people who stay longer than just one night (Yes, I am looking for some kind of connection here).
So, on to more fun matters now.
"You know, that only thing that has made the whole thing worthwhile has been those few times that I was able to truly connect with another person." (from 'A single man') - That sums it up.
I think I'm a laid-back, open-minded, live and let live-kinda guy. I like being out and about to discover new things and people. I believe that openness, respect and empathy towards others is the best default setting.
I live on my own. I have a quiet house that is located on walking distance to the city centre of Ghent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, traveling is first and foremost about people (and nature). So I'd be happy to be one of those people to you, and to hear your story. I love meeting others and I'm open to new experiences, insights and deep talks. Surprise me!
If I have the time, I would be happy to chat with you, hang out, and show you around (museums, bars, parties, football games ....).
Interests
Anything new that gives me a good mindf*ck! And theatre (playing and watching), art, football, literature, running, all kinds of music, hiking, playing vinyl, wildlife and nature in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, and a keen interest in your life and your city.
O, I also make a great Old Fashioned.
Countries I’ve Visited
