Hoi,
I am Niek a happy Dutch skateboarder and an enthusiastic surfer living in a small city in the Netherlands called Tilburg. I'm currently doing a Ph.D. at the technical university of Eindhoven. I like traveling and exploring new places to surf or skate. Couchsurfing is a bit new for me. Some friends shared their experiences with me, but I haven't been involved in it, until now!

For my work I have the chance to travel and see new places, unfortunately, the stays are quite short and in hotels. Luckily I can extend them a bit now and then and see some of the local culture, people, and food. With the help of Couchsurfing, I hope to be able to get more the local feel, have nice experiences and meet new people.
