CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

We are a single-parent family: Yoana 16, Migueltxo 12 and me javier 57. I was living for 20 years in a small village in Navarra, but now we live in a flat in Pamplona. I like travel: Spain, Europe, Central and South America, Africa and a little bit Asia. We currently live in Pamplona in a flat with a couch in the living room and a small room avalaible. Somos una familia monoparental, que nos gusta viajar cuando podemos. disponemos de un sofá y si tienes niños igual podemos arreglarnos. Es un piso alquilado así que animales no nos está permitido.

PHILOSOPHY

No religion but political ideas of course.
Worry/concerned about justice, environment, human rights and so on.
I am an admirer of Nelson Mandela, Pepe Mújica, Ángela Davis, Patrice Lumumba, Rosa Parks, ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly hosting in the past, and several times as guests, great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly hosting, all of them fantastic, till now.

Interests

I like meet people who want interact, share experiences. Spend time with local people when travelling, that can teach us the town or villages we visit. For me is important my dauhgter and son experience this way of living. Notice that we are a single parent family, it means perhaps I must refuse when I am busy with my job and taking care of children

Music, Movies, and Books

I love climbing mountains and trekking, watching the nature.....photo, and of course travelling.
Eduardo Galeano, Javier Reverte,
All kind of music, 70´s. 80´s, rock, pop, new age,...
Sci fi films, Interstellar....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in 5 different countries working for ngo's as doctor 1992-1999, and later in 2010
Paragigling in 2008..and suffering small accident (broken left arm)
Escape from a war.....twice at least, First from Suhumi (bombing area), weeks later from Zugdidi, (kidnapped); both events in 1993.
And the most emotional event in my life: foster family Yoana and Migueltxo since 2016
