ABOUT ME

I'm an untypical boy, I would prefer to go shopping than to see a football match. :D Friend tell me that I'm funny and sometimes foolish too, but not always. :D In general I'm quite easy going, I don't like to argue and I'm a respectable person. I love talking in foreign languages, travelling, discovering new places and meeting with friends.

I study 'French in applied economics' at the Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ for the third year, but now left to France to spend my Erasmus time here. Now I'm crossing roads on the red lights, I'm holding baguettes under arms and I'm overeating with delicious French biscuits. Fortunately, I still don't eat frogs.
Update #1: Back in CZ. New things are going to happen. :)
Update #2: Again out of CZ. Although this time I have wafels for breakfast and fries for lunch. This country makes me faaaaat!
Update #3: Back home to finish my studies. What kind of adventure will come next?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There's not much of participation in CS from my side, because I have always lived in an accomodation where CS was not allowed. But as it's gonna be possible, I'll host all of you for sure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been a couple of days I had my CS experience (January 2014) and I must say it has enriched my life. To be honest, I think basically everyone starts to be interested in CS mainly because of saving money and the experience is just a nice bonus. However, it's not like as it's supposed to be. CS can take you to boroughs you would never visit, meet people you would never come across, show things you would never be able to see. You're about to explore the most only with a local!

Interests

Well, a question which always makes me feel like "Why the hell do you all have to ask me about this?" is: "So, what are your hobbies?" :D Actually, I don't have a lot of them or a special hobby, I'm not that sports person or just somebody who has its own activities and has always something what to do. Although, I would say that my main hobby is travelling. (Which is obviously a cliché on this site.) I also like going on a bike and swimming (although I'm horrible in swimming, it's one of few sports who don't bother me that much:D) listening to the music, watching funny stuff on the Internet and reading. Or just hanging around in the street and talking with friends. Another thing I like is just thinking about absolutely unimportant things in my mind...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not that keen on movies. I've seen just few of them and everyone's making fun of me like "Have you seen this and this film? Actually, why I'm asking you?" :D But I have some favourite like Harold&Maude, The Big Fish or Slumdog Millionaire.

Concerning TV series, maybe it's embarrasing to admit, but... I was a bit addicted on the Sex and the City. :D I have watched all the episodes about, hmm, 15 times? Maybe more :D
When I was I child, I used to really adore reading. Now I still like it, but not so much as before. My favourite book is The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

Concerning music, I prefer alternative singers, mainstream is not my cup of tea. I admit, some of them are quite mainstream. O:-) Nevertheless, I have a feeling that lot of my favourites singers and bands are now called "hipster" and are becoming more and more popular. No please, stop it!
