ABOUT ME

I'm playful, happy, outgoing and looking forward to meeting new people! I am currently studying in Berlin, a terrific, fantastically interesting city. For a long time, I thought I was "weird" for caring for other people and the fate of the world. With platforms such as couchsurfing, you end up realizing that lots of people care deeply for other people's well-being. Couchsurfing always was a breath of fresh air for me, as it truly reconnects you about what is great about humans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled for 3 months around Europe a few years ago and had a wonderful experience with couchsurfing. It really is a fullfilling experience that makes you believe in the greatness of people. Too often through the spectre of social media, we end up having a fairly negative vision of other people and I believe that breaking that barrier and having actual conversations from people all over the world can truly allow us to see that most people are actually somewhat similar, in regards to their ideals for themselves, their family and their society.

Intereses

As for lots of people on this website (duh!), I enjoy traveling. Putting yourself in situations outside of your comfort can truly accomplish wonders for your self-esteem, as it reminds us what we are capable of when we are pushed over the edge.

Music is also a keen interest of mine. At the despair of my roommates (I'm guessing), most of my time at home, cooking or taking a shower also involves a fair share of singing. And as for about 89% of North American men, I enjoy playing guitar. Very original, I know!

Otherwise, I'm currently studing International Affairs. To me, the driving forces of the world are truly fascinating and I always enjoy hearing people's point of view on the matter.

Música, películas y libros

As mentioned before, I enjoy music very much. I guess I'm one of these people who enjoy old music because "it's not the same today" (although that isn't true).

As for movies, I'm still trying to top my absolute love and devotion for the trilogy "The lord of the Rings", which litteraly rocked my world for years when I was 12, 13 years old. For Christmas, I even received the "ONE RING", which I carried around on a golden chain at school. I would sometimes try to put it on to escape some boring class, but it seems it doesn't work that way. Wasn't even bullied for having that ring. I must have been darn cool.

I'm always happy to teach languages to people. In another life, I studied to become a teacher and even though I didn't follow through with it, I deeply enjoy passing on and receiving knowledge to and from other people.

I'm always up for deep, interesting discussions about the world, philosophy, life.

As we would say in French, "Reinventing the world around a beer".
