ABOUT ME

Hi! I´m Desiré, originally from the beautiful village of Urk in the Netherlands. Now I'm living in a small village next to it, called Tollebeek. I have really great memories from all the times I traveled alone during and after my studies. I met great people and had good times. I hope to offer a place of rest for those travelling to Urk or it's surroundings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived with my parents I hosted a few people. That's a few years ago. Right now I live together with my husband and 2 guinea pigs.

Main interest in soul- and jazzmusic, gospel and classical music and I like reading books, especially in winter.
Not so keen on watching movies or television.

I can tell you all about the unique history of the former island of Urk, where I grew up. And I can tell about the Noordoostpolder, that's where I live now.
