I love listening to stories, watching them as movies and enjoying them in a theatre. Books are also my big passion so as audiobooks. Currently, my favorite one is The Unbearable Lightness of Being written by Kundera and Secondhand Time: The Last of the Soviets by Alexievich.

I can also spend quite a lot of time just staring at a lava lamp but in fact, I am not so lazy as it could look like. I love traveling (what a Couchsurfing profile would it be without this sentence). Except for one China time I am traveling around Europe and since last year, I am also trying to get to know our own beautiful places in Czechia, because I have realized I have spent more time traveling abroad than home.

I also enjoy sports such as volleyball, swimming, badminton or hiking. And strolling around a city is also an activity I count into sports. Getting lost (on purpose or not) is one of my favorite and quite regular activities because you never know what is behind the next corner.

I always very appreciate if someone shows me new views on life, the universe, and everything (yes, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy belongs among my favorite books too).

It is the best way to get to know a country through locals, guidebooks disappointed me many times. Plus it is the best chance to meet new interesting people, learn about them, their country and even myself.

I like almost every music style - Louis Armstrong, Tom Waits, Chet Faker, Leonard Cohen, Vysockij, Nina Simone , Goran Bregovic, The Death South, Gogol Bordello, Frank Sinatra and many others.
My favourite authors are Wilde, Remarque, Fitzgerald, Sartre, Čapek, Hrabě, Dumas.
From the movies, it would be Tim Burton, David Lynch and Woody Allen films.
