Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Eu adoro conhecer pessoas novas quando viajo, já usei muito o hangout pra isso.
I have met many couchsurfers using the app and been hosted once.
Interests
I love reading, dancing, cooking, baking, teaching, swimming, hanging out with my friends and family.
I'm passionate about languages! I'm currently studying Ancient Greek and French.
The perfect afternoon usually revolves around
A) my kitchen, friends who came over, cooking (or ordering pizza if I'm feeling particulary lazy that day), lots of noise and laughter.
B) beach/lake/swimming pool, SUNSHINE, barbecue and friends
I'm crazy about camping and I've been working organizing youth camps and retreats as a volunteer for the past couple of years. I have met so many great people and experienced so many life changing experiences in the life of the teenagers during camps that it motivates me to keep working.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love dancing, and I'm a big fan of Salsa dancing.
I'm passionate about reading!
In my free time I'll usually choose books that are light, fun and enjoyable to read. I like pop music, as well as Brazilian folk music (MPB), bossa nova and some types of samba.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dirigir mais de 800 km sozinha viajando pelo nordeste!
I was living in a small town in Vancouver Island in a beautiful location near the beach. One night some friends and I went to the docks to swim and in that reagion of the Pacific the water glows through fosforecence every time you move. I had never seen anything like that before. It was magical! What made it even more beautiful was the fact that there was no light anywhere near, all I could see were the stars in the sky and the water glowing as I moved.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Portuguese, English, how to cook (specially Brazilian desserts and pastries) and even how to entertain a group of 30 or more kids and make them pay attention to you (in case you've ever being left alone in a classrom, you may know that this is a basic survival skill):D
