About Me
ABOUT ME
I graduated Edinburgh University in 2015, completed a photography internship in Japan for three months, worked on a peanut farm there for 2 weeks, did a season snowboarding in Canada, came back to the UK for Glastonbury festival, lived around the UK for 5 months (York and Robin Hoods Bay), moved to New Zealand for a year and a half, living and working in Wellington for one year of that, travelling and adventuring for the other half. Currently travelling to Vietnam for a little adventure, then over to the States to work on some hop farms for a few months.
I am now living in Cardiff, South Wales, studying my postgraduate master's degree in Documentary Photography. My current on-going research project addresses the future of food security, for which I will be travelling to Peru in April 2020.
I am a respectful, outgoing, cheery kind of person, I love animals and meeting new people from all backgrounds. I also love photography, arts, literature, music, exploring, snowboarding, climbing, biking and beer.
Life long vegetarian but not a preacher, like the idea of exchange of value so try to at least cook or garden or mend something for my hosts... I'm a dab hand at putting up shelves :)
PHILOSOPHY
Try to do something to help another person everyday... Just be kind!
Meet new people, listen to those who think differently from you... if you're open you'll alway learn something.. always say yes to new experiences and the adventures will naturally follow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed before in the USA for around a month. It was a fantastic experience as I got to meet people from all around the world and share new experiences with them. Also, staying with people from the country I was visiting allowed me to see it from a local point of view rather than only as an outsider or a tourist.
In other parts of the world I've done WWOOF (World Wide Organisation of Organic Farming) a lot which is kind of like couch surfing but more of an exchange of time and help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- It's far to hard to choose just one thing. Need to add a LOT to this but from a year ago I would have said;
Parashooting in Canada was fun but so was staying in a tree-house community outside of Edinburgh, or waking up at Faslane Peace Camp (Scotland) to find my water bottle had frozen, or watching shooting stars reflected in the Adriatic sea in Croatia, or eating dumplings in Poland or camping in the middle of a thunder storm between a motorway and a technorave in Sweden, working on a peanut farm in Japan, or doing a snowboarding season in Canada... loved all of it :D
- Got to add swimming in the phosphorescence in the sea in New Zealand under such a clear stary sky with the milky-way so bright with one of my best friends.
And canoeing 145km down the Whanganui River.

What I Can Share with Hosts
A meal or two, a nice polaroid of them, or their pet/favourite place if camera shy, music recommendations, any odd jobs that need doing around their house - I've done quite a few workaways/wwoof/volunteer jobs before so always happy to help out where needed :)
