About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest!
ABOUT ME
I am 23. My friends call me Aless or Ali. I consider myself to be very optimistic, positive and sociable. I love the outdoors, enjoy reading, writing and traveling! Traveling has been a very important part of my life and I grew up around family and friends that travelled the world. My goal in life is to do the same! :D
I am half Irish, half Spanish and bilingual, although I grew up in the UK. I teach Primary school children for a living, though now I have left my day job and my old life to be an Au Pair in the USA and travel for as long as I can! :)
I have only recently started couch surfing in the United States and I am so excited to couch surf all over the world! I feel very comfortable meeting new people and really enjoy a nice talk in a new place over a cold beer or a hot coffee, depending on the weather! ;)
PHILOSOPHY
"Traveling is the only thing your buy that makes you richer."
"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."
"Bloom where you are planted."
"Good people bring out the good in people."
"If you do not like where you are, change it. You are not a tree."
"Positive anything is better than negative nothing."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I can not host anyone because of my living arrangements with my host family in the US. I believe myself to be a very welcoming person and enjoy hearing stories about peoples adventures and travels, and therefor, am very excited to meet and show people around the area I currently live in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had very brief but wonderful couch surfing experiences so far!
I've met wonderful people, generous and altruist everywhere I have gone. I've even managed to make a few of them my friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done so far is leaving all I know and love to live in a foreign country (and continent!) and travel. I love my family and am very close to them, but this experience is making me grow and mature in ways I never expected and at such a rapid pace. It's giving me life experiences I will never forget and surrounding me by people I hope to cherish for a lifetime. :)
