Hi everybody! I've been a high school language teacher for over 10 years (it's the best job in the world!), I live in a small town in Beauce, Quebec, Canada, and I love to travel! I'm really easy-going, respectful, simple, interested in learning all kinds of things, and I love life!

Interests

I love cooking , hiking, listening to music, photography, learning languages and about the culture of other countries. I enjoy wine and coffee, great food, jogging, salsa dancing, watching movies, and I'm so fortunate to be able to teach to a bunch of amazing teenagers! I love my job! (Ok, it's the second time I've mentioned my job, it's the end of the school year and I'm a bit nostalgic hahah)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of Spanish and latin music, some indie rock/pop, good old rock, I am crazy about the violin, I listen to pretty much everything except for heavy metal and electronic music.

My favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump. There's such a beautiful message throughout the movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for a 6-day hike in the jungle of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Wow! What a crazy experience! After the first hour of climbing under the blazing sun, with a 45-degree super humid temperature, I wanted to give up. But I made it to the top of the first mountain and decided from then on that nothing could stop me! I've used this experience whenever I have had to face something difficult in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some French or Québécois, English and Spanish. I can cook pretty well. I dance cuban salsa. I love hearing passionate people talk about what they love to do!
