ABOUT ME

Hi all! My name is Michael, I'm from Melbourne and about to start some adventures over to Europe! I'm taking a year off before starting my Arts degree to go meet more people that will hopefully become new friends and go on amazing adventures with them.
I love having a laugh, a chat or a dance and of course, making new friends is one of my biggest passions. I get excited pretty easily, such as right now thinking about couchsurfing!

PHILOSOPHY

Appreciating the people around me. being in the moment, leaving my worries to my future self, all good things like that.

Interests

Everything creative! I love music a little bit too much, especially making music or making playlists. I play some guitar, keyboard and drums. I also spend a lot of my time reading books and looking to spend more time writing stories. Drawing is another thing I like to do even though my drawings are never really that good but hey.
I enjoy dancing the night away with friends but then of course having a lazy Sunday the next day :D I love hearing other people's stories of there adventures and then making new adventures with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much all I listened to in my childhood was Ring of Fire by Johny Cash ..since then though my tastes have expanded! I'm a big fan of alternative music, Folk, Electronica, raves, hip-hop, and anything that's good to dance to or chill out too.
My favourite book would probably be The Little Prince, that book taught me a lot about what is most important to me.
Movie wise I've been told of a lot of great movies to watch, last year though my favourite movie was The Perks of Being a Wallflower, was brilliant.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to draw better, more languages, more about your country's history, culture and food, just more about people. I'm a patient teacher of English after living with plenty of English as a second language speaking house mates this year
