My name is Melissa and I am 23 years old. My father is french and my mother chilean. I grew up in France, lived in Scotland and Ireland and now I am Aupair in Santiago de Chile and at the same time and I am doing a work placement of assistant marketing. So sadly I can't accept guest as it's not my own house but the one of my host family.

I would love to discover more of my chilean origins meeting great people native people and from all other the world . I love talking about any subject, love cooking, and going out for only a drinking or until the sunshine. I also love discover new city and place by walk and discover all their hidden gems. I started travel and now I can't stop , I am so curious to discover the world and learn as much as I can about it !

Me llamo Melissa y tengo 23 años. Mi padre es francés y mi madre chilena. Creci en Francia, vivi en Escocia y Irlanda, y ahora soy Aupair en Santiago de Chile y al mismo tiempo hago una practica de assistente marketing. Entonces lamentablemente no puedo acceptar huésped como no es mi casa pero es la casa de la familia que me hospeda.

Deseo descubrir mis origenes chilenas conociendo gente nativa y tambien gente que vienen de todas partes del mundo . Me gusta hablar de todo, cocinar, salir para solamente una cerveza o hasta al final de la noche . Me gusta tambien caminar por una nueva ciudad o lugar y descubrir su belleza escondida. Empecé a viajar y ahora no puedo parar , tengo ganas de descubrir el mundo entero y aprender todo lo que puedo!

Pienso que es muy importante conocer la gente que viven en una ciudad y para mi couchsurfing es eso. Conocer gente nueva, compartir sus experiencias saliendo o comiendo algo muy rico.

Interests

I love going outside , walk around discovering without any constraints of time . I
like running, hicking. I also like going to the museum. I also like reading a good book or listening music that make you forget about time and space, or watch a great movie and that at the end you'll never forget . What I truly appreciate is having a conversation about anything, everything and rewrite the world.

Me gusta salir , caminar sin tener que mirar la hora. Me gusta tambien correr, trekking, ir al museo, leer o escuchar musica . Lo que a mi me gusta mucho es hablar de todo y nada con alguien y al final quizas terminar por imaginar un nuevo mundo

Music, Movies, and Books

One my favourite author is J.R.R Tolkien . I find wonderful that he is about to creature a whole new world only write and this world seems so real and make you lost the notion of time. One of the movie which really touch me is The Road.
I love latin music but also old school rock as deep purple and gun n roses, pop too as Fools garden.

Uno de mi autor favorito es J.R.R Tolkien. es capaz de crear un mundo imaginario que parece tan real. Una de las peliculas que me afecto mucho es the road. Me gusta musica latina pero me gusta tambien rock como Gun n roses, Deep Purple y tambien la pop como Fools Garden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Ben Nevis ( highest Scottish mountain ) half way up just with runners, running outfit, a jumper, and a shopping bag because I went there by chance it wasn't plan and I really wanted to do it ! And ate the best burger of my whole life once going down.

Subi el Ben Nevis ( la montaña la mas grande de Escocia)hasta la mitad solamente, con ropa deportiva para correr y un bolso para hacer las compras porque decidi hacerlo cuando llegué alla por casualidad. Y cuando bajé comi el burger mas rico de mi vida !
