I can only host on the WEEKENDS. We work through the week.

My aim is to live a simple life. I believe in doing what makes you happy and keeps your conscience clean, if that changes, follow suit.

I live in a house 5 miles from the University with my husband, son, dogs, a cat and some chickens. We're building a little farm day by day, learning and growing more of our own food.

Going on adventures of all types.

Go snowmachine or skiing to a cabin or hot spring.
Camping and hiking trips of all kinds.
I enjoy hunting, fishing and ice fishing. Catching your dinner is an amazing thing.
In the Summer I love to go swimming in a lake or river and lay in the sun.
I like gardening and growing my food.
I love a good bonfire, laughing until my face hurts and dancing to everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got married and had a baby with the most amazing human!

Sat on a couch in the driveway with my favorite Fairbanks ladies beside a bonfire and watched the Northern lights dance over the whole sky.

A 3-week research rafting trip on the Colville river in the Northern part of Alaska.

Got stuck on the Seward peninsula(Northwest Alaska), ran out of food and had to catch fish and gather plants to eat until the weather broke.

Helped Alaskan reindeer herders on St. Lawrence Island with a round-up of over 2,000 reindeer.

I love helping people do things and am pretty handy.

I'd love to cook a meal with your and even like to do the dishes.

Share stories about my adventures in Alaska. Just ask me about my rafting trip where I met a bear while brushing my teeth... I didn't even have my coffee yet!
