About Me

Currently a struggling law student.

A cat person.

Love literature, psychology, politics, philosophy, sociology, art.
A liberal feminist and an ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

Taiwan Independence.

I’m a shy introvert and I don’t think it’s a disadvantage. Sensitive people are beautiful and powerful.
I have slight social anxiety. Some may think I look grumpy when we first met,but in fact, I’m just anxious or tired.
(I enjoy making new friends but I need more time to be acquainted with people. )

I’m a chronic pain and PTSD survivor.
Almost 4 years ago, widespread neuropathic pain flared up.
It almost killed me.
It introduced a totally different life style to me. I eat healthily. I train hard to stimulate runner’s high to ease my pain naturally. I’ve gained lots of weight from medication but I started to realize what self love was. I learnt to confront major trauma deep inside my mind.
My illness strangely made me a better person.

I like hiking, skateboarding, yoga, strength training, etc.
I enjoy preparing healthy food and exploring new ingredients.
Sometimes I meditate and practice mindfulness. I should do it more often.

MY COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I felt so welcomed when I was with my hosts.
I felt absolutely accepted by this heartwarming community.
They trusted me and they didn’t ask me for anything. They only wanted to make friends.
I really like this kind of healthy relationship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s a good way to meet adventurous, open-minded friends.

I have more courage to talk to people.

I feel trusted and I trust them.

I tried lots of special food introduced by my hosts. It’s fun.
