Hi, my name is Jelena and I am currently living and enjoying life in Bonn, Germany. It is a cosy but also international and historical town close to Cologne. Apart from work I like to walk through the city, dance, meet friends and make good memories. Traveling is a passion of mine, so whenever I'm here I like to host somebody in my apartment, which is ten minutes away from the city center.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

During my Bachelor studies, I was engaged in the student organization AIESEC and loved how people took care of each other regardless of their background. Pretty fast I tried it out in the Netherlands and without exaggerating I had the best time ever. People showed us around and we were not visitors anymore. It turned out we became members of the group and participants. In Frankfurt some years later I myself hosted and me and my guests always had a great time. I love to show people around and just chat about God and the world.

The book I'm reading now is called "Das Kind in dir muss Heimat finden". It's about our identity, trust and self-esteem. Always by my side is the Bible and my journal, which I try to fill out daily.
