About Me

CURRENTLY OUT OF TOWN

About me , hmm.. how could we discribe ourselves in words? Let s meet and describe one each other through our common experiences

***After loneliness and boredom of quarantine, I decided to start living beautiful and intense moments again! Of course with safety and respect to people in danger... So , my summer started with a brilliant experience working on the cherry fields in a village high on the mountains of Greece!! There, I shared working experiences and team bonding with beautiful people coming from different styles of living, like, mucisians, dancers, students, actresses, refugees . We spend 25 days working on cherry fields, bosses were not so good, truth be told, but we liked each other so after work we were trying to gain our happiness back by collectiv cooking, theatrical games, music and fooling around the cherry fields. In the end we also had some money in the pocket for our living expenses ! after, my car Nandia and me traveled to Samothraki, a wild island , full of canyons and rivers. There, I also met interesting people with whom I shared tips and moments how to survive into the wild..
At the moment, I am planning my life for at least the next two months, cause, because of covid-19, some situations are insecure. Last year I was working at a private primary school with children (I m on creative play and art therapy mainly as a Speech Communication Behavioural Pathologist) that is still shut down. So , this insecurity of finding a job combined with my energy and love of traveling made me take the decision of travelling to Switzerland for work , mainly on the fields. Of course this is not the first time, I have sever working experiences from france to sweden , from grapes to strawberries..
To sum up, my friend Giannis , my friend Stathis, Nandia (my car) and me , Ariadne, start our roadtrip from Thessaloniki to South Switzerland looking for job, Vendange or any fruit picking from September until... end of October maybe. (?) Currently , we carry our tents and warm cloths but we guess it s gonna be difficult to camp in Suisse for a long time.. It gonna be lonely at the mountains too (haha). We are looking for a place to stay , at least a couple of days to have a rest.. or meet nice people to feel that we are not trying ro survive in the middle of nowhere .. companionship and knowing local people make us feel safer and warmer . any tips and invitations , of course, are welcome ! Any information or advice or even collectiv cooking would be great for us . You also have free invitation to join us :) I ll keep up with photos from our trip..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because I believe in sharing , sharing moments, feelings even materials .Also, meeting new people is always a plus in our companionship as choice of living.the uniqueness of each of us enhance our perception of living. travelling is one way to feel free and communication is another gate to find yourself and then built relationships with more and more people. there is this greek expression that i remember since i was a kid that says, ''hold my hand to hold your so we can climp up the mountain''. When houses are so expensive and rare to find , the most beautiful thing we can do is sharing !!

Interests

exploring humanity and nature, equal to me . even sometimes I prefer nature ^*^
