I'm a very open minded person. I'm very laid back, lazy and calm. I spend most of my days writing, thinking and then having to come back to the real world for work and classes. I'm an old soul, and have been for most of my teenage and adult life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just moved to a new house so when it's tidied up, I'll start hosting. For now, I still haven't surfed and I'm totally up for it!

I've read everything from Russian literature to Murakami. My favorite books (the ones I often re-read) are Gone with the Wind, Lolita, A Clockwork Orange, The Outsiders, The Phantom Tollbooth, The Harry Potter series, Farewell to Arms, The Great Gatsby and Of Mice and Men. I haven't reread the ASOIF series because they're too long and I can't stop once I start any of the books, but I'd love to if I had an entire week where all I could do was read.

I love almost anything Glam Rock, with several exceptions. My favorite band is Metallica, but the one I've listened to the most is probably Guns n' Roses. I tend to like individual songs rather than "bands". I also love Lady Gaga, and I still don't know why. I like classical music but almost never listen to it (I have to be on the right mood).

I like movies that have either great stories and/or cinematography. They could lack either one if one characteristic made up for the other. I love Blade Runner, The Lion King, The Virgin Suicides, The Godfather I, The Return of the Jedi, The Return of the King, Edward Scissorhands, Gladiator, Alien, Forest Gump, Hercules, Gone With the Wind, The Dark Knight, Ten Things I Hate About You, Iron Man, The Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman, Twelve Monkeys, Pulp Fiction, Siete Cajas, El Secreto de sus Ojos, I am Legend, Pirates of the Caribbean, Anna Karenina (1930's one), A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Schindler's List.

Shows: Married with Children, Seinfeld, CSI, Dexter, Sailor Moon, TWD, GOT, Mad Men, Modern Family, and Boardwalk Empire.
