Hey, I'm Dominic, an easy going and open-minded guy from Vöcklabruck, Austria.
I prefer to keep life as simple as possible. I don't give much on "status symbols" or material things.
For me is an unorganized day, where you can decide whatever makes you feel happy very special. Therfore I like spontaneous activities. I always try to live in the present moment. I like to be surrounded by honest, reliable and positive people but I also need some time for my own. I have a creative mind and i love the spirit of freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my trips I always like to discover secret or hidden places, get in contact with new people, learn more about new cultures and by the way about myself. I prefer traveling in an easy and non-touristic way. Staying with locals is a fascinating opportunity to get in touch with different philosophies of life and by the way they can show you the most beautiful and magical places in their environment. I think the personal exchange during the stay makes it valuable for both sides.
I am grateful for everyone who crosses my path. It doesn't matter if it's just a small conversation, maybe a stay over night or a friendship for life.

Interests

I enjoy spending most of my time in nature. Either just to go for a walk in the nearby forests or along a river.
Packing my backpack and have an adventure around the beautiful mountains and lakes of the "famous" Salzkammergut-region or somewhere else in the world.
Along the way i like meeting new people, having inspiring conversations, trying something new or just sitting around a campfire looking at the stars and enjoy the silence.
