About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Improving my English. And learning how to cook gluten-free food!
ABOUT ME
I'm trying to be a cultural journalist in my town, Terrassa. NO, I DON'T LIVE IN BARCELONA. But I can help you discovering some shows and exhibitions both in Terrassa and Barcelona. I love music and theatre, much better if cheap (or free!). I also love cooking and good food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Travelling is really expensive, and tourism is boring. I love meeting new cultures and sharing experiences and opinions from all around the world. I'm not really interested in visiting (only) the monuments or the views, but to meet people and understand how people think. This is the best part of travelling!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm not an expert but I've hosted and been a host a couple of times, all of them positive experiences!
Interests
I'm interested in all kinds of culture: music, theatre, food, drinks... I like cooking and I think I do it pretty well, even dough I don't have much time to do it. With my flatmate, we prepare a nice meal every friday (with hashtag #dinarsdedivendres), and we are getting a high level! ;) You can see her profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/532725
I'm involved in a project called Surtdecasa.cat, which is a digital, cultural magazine where we talk about music, theatre, books and other stuff in our region, surrounding Terrassa and Sabadell (near Barcelona).

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm interested in all kinds of music: funky and soul when I want to party, pop or folk if I'm just relaxed, and also jazz, reggae, hip-hop... I can't choose!
I haven't seen much cinema in my life, but I enjoy a good film if I have the chance! Classic cinema, action movies or sci-fi... but I don't really like horror movies! :-S
Related to books and literature, I use to read non-fiction things (reports, interviews, reviews...) and i love poetry!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quited my last job in order to be free. It was a horrible place, with horrible people and horrible things to do (Did I say it was horrible??). Now I'm poorer, but I'm much happier :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things every day. That's why I'm a journalist, and that's why I'm also a teacher. They are the best jobs in the world just because of that: they're two different ways to share your knowledge and learn and learn and learn.
I'll be glad if you tell me new places to go, new music groups to listen to, new dishes to cook. We can share a concert or a kitchen and have a lot of fun talking about our countries!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty busy so I can't offer a lot to my hosts. Just a couch (bed couch), a bathroom and a place to put their stuff. My flat is 10 minutes to the train station so you can get to Barcelona in 45 minutes. We can share some meals or have a beer somewhere at the weekends!
REMEMBER I DON'T LIVE IN BARCELONA. IF YOU WRITE ASKING FOR A HOST IN BARCELONA I WILL REPLY IN A RUDE WAY, BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT.
