About Me

I'm girl from Galicia, Spain, who loves learning languages and traveling around the world. I basically spend all the money I earn on making trips, especially when they involve meeting my friends from all over the world.
I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting, but my true passion is teaching. That's why I got a master's degree in Teaching and another one on Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. My wish is to be able to teach my language to and share my culture with those interested, anywhere!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends who already had this experience had only recommended it, so this February I tried it for the first time on the trip I took to South Korea. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I stayed with a family, the best first hosts I could ever think of!!! But not only that, I got to meet other solo travelers that were in Seoul as well. I've met so many interesting people, and got to share an amazing trip with them. That's why I've decided I'll keep doing it.

Right now, I can't host anyone, because I'm living as a surfer myself, in a room in someone's house, but I'm more than willing to accept people once I get my own place. This is a great idea for travelling and learning about other cultures and, why not? Make new friends from all over the world~

Interests

I'm very basic. Give me some conversation while munching something, and I'll be more than happy. Topping it with some music and dancing can only make it even better.
I love learning the insides about a culture, how they affect the language, and compare it with mine. There's lot of interesting things to learn out there!
Also, an afternoon or evening with friends playing board games sounds like the perfect plan for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite group is BTS, a South Korean boy group. K-Pop in general is my jam everyday, but I do enjoy listening to many kinds of music.
I grew up with Harry Potter, so I guess I'll have to choose the series as my favorite movies and books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love talking, and I think it's one of the best things I can do. Ask me anything about Spain, about my culture and I'll try to tell you as much as I can. I also lived in Germany and in the USA, so I'm also willing to share information about my experiences there.
Gotta admit I'm not a good cook, nor am I creative or talented in arts, for example, but I am very hardworking and willing to help as much as possible.
