ABOUT ME

I am a simple, honest, helpful and open-minded person. I love meeting new people and listening to their stories. I like reading, dancing, writing. I am fascinated by human/social relationships and interactions. I like the sun (in the sky as well as the one found in people's hearts)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is mainly about throwing an intention from the deepest side of your heart into the air, and waiting, patiently, for it to come back with the wind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It has been four years now that I am using couchsurfing. I love the concept and the discoveries it leads you to.
I am always interested in exchanging with people of different culture, and as an anthropologist, I prefer stay with locals rather than staying in a hotel. Couchsurfing fully fits this interest.

Interests

I am fascinated by culture and social relationships. I love travelling. In studies, I worked on the anthropology of health, political anthropology, with a focus on Africa.
I love reading and I have passion for writing which I try currently to develop and work on.
I like photography. I love dancing especially contemporary and modern jazz. I am particularly interested in Graham technics and Anna Halprin Life Art Process.
Today I am teaching cultural and social education in a high school where pupils are trained in agriculture, development and social services in rural areas. I try to sensitize pupils to art and communication through projects.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning new things, so if you have things you want to share, I am ready!
On my side, I can share my travelling experiences, teach how to cook a creole dish or some French vegetarian dishes, teach yoga, or even share with you something I would call of the anthropological eye... a way of looking at society, which maybe you haven't thought about before.
