Im a 21 year old student currently studying for a year abroad in Madrid, Spain. At weekends I try to travel around Europe when I can and see some of the world! I really want to improve my Spanish!!

I'm a very laid back and easy going person and I love to meet others along my travels and learn from them and have a chat then go along our way! I have a good sense of humour and I love to dance and have a few drinks and a laugh with good company!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a really unique and good way of meeting people who can give you an experience that a hostel/hotel probably won't be able to match.

I'm a very open person and love to hear people's stories of travelling and couchsurfing allows this along with a nice cup of tea!

Interests

I love to cook but I'm no chef! I also have a passion for drawing and reading but its hard to find the time! I absolutely LOVE dogs and animals. I love running and keeping active.

Until recently I haven't been outside of Ireland but I am slowly adding to my list of adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so many different types of music, I love beautiful vocals like London Grammer or Florence and the Machine but I was raised listening to Country music so a bit of Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson is always welcome. Anything goes! My favourite musicians would include Bon Iver, The Civil Wars, Hozier, Massive Attack, Outkast, Fleetwood Mac, José González, Eminem, Childish Gambino, Kings of Leon, London Grammer, Manu Chao, Shakira and the Weeknd!

Any movie that makes me laugh is a winner. Seth Rogan and Will Ferrell any day. Psychological thrillers are also my favourite. Scary movies depend on my mood!! Some of my favourites include; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Requiem for a Dream, Jumanji, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Interstellar, Forrest Gump, American History X, Memento, American Beauty, Gladiator, Amélie, L'Aubergine Espagnole, Good Will Hunting...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate 32 chicken nuggets after a Music Festival one day, I'm quite proud of that.

I can teach you how to speak/write basic Chinese, Irish or Spanish. I also know how to Irish dance if you want to learn!
