About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live a life I´m proud of while travelling the World :)

ABOUT ME

I`m a laid back and open-minded guy. Same time, I try to live a memorable life and keep myself psyched for this purpose! The following letter, from the Curious Case of Benjamin Button movie, resumes my vision of life, that I am willing to put everything on the line for:

"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

Along my way, I do try to focus in my self-improvement and persons like Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali and Eric Thomas are a huge inspiration to me. I also try finding value in different life perspectives, mainly Buddhism and Rastafari.

Besides that, I enjoy the little things in life, such as spending time with the people I care about, driving my cabrio in a sunny day or at night listening to 80s Rock music while driving surrounded by Neon lights :)

PHILOSOPHY

“Most of you say you want to be successful, but you don’t want it bad – you just kinda want it. And when you want to succeed as bad you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful” (Eric Thomas)

"Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute, or an hour or a day, or even a year. But eventually, it will subside. And something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it will last forever" (Eric Thomas)

“Its not always necessary to be strong, but to feel strong” (Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild)

"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it" (Bruce Lee)

"Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do" (Bruce Lee)

"To hell with circumstances. I create opportunities" (Bruce Lee)

“You are not your job, you're not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You are not your fucking khakis. You are all singing, all dancing crap of the world.” (Tyler Durden, Fight Club)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been travelling around Europe whenever I can for the past 3 years now. Met a lot of awesome people staying in Hostels who told me about their great experience with Couchsurfing! With all the friends they´ve made this way and epic tales they have lived, I decided I definitely had to try it too! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couchsurfing, but I already have my share of travelling and meeting new people in hostels (check my visited countries map). Hope to start surfing soon and this way meet the most amazing people! :)

Interests

Travelling: Definitely in my absolute Top3 of the things I enjoy the most in life. It is a way of life to me and I consider it a beautiful way to do and see amazing things, feel things I never felt before and meet the most extraordinary people :)

Guitars: I´m trying to learn the Bass for some time now and one of the things I enjoy the most in life is listening to or playing a guitar, Electric or Bass! Thus, listening to guitar solos, jams and checking out covers is my thing! I like thinking that an amplifier doesn´t only amplifies an electric signal, but also your soul, making me a Happy man ;)

Motorcycles: I´m a huge fan of the Sons of Anarchy tv show. Harley-Davidson 883 is my dream bike and I do have much respect for the concept "Live to Ride, Ride to Live". It´s all about freedom afterall ;)

Cars: I love driving, it´s one of the things I´m more passionate about. I like Sports cars better and I do have an interest in gaining more knowledge about cars in general.

Football: I´m a huge fan, considering all the emotions and tallent involved. It is truly a special sport to me and my favourite player is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for his talent and special personality lol.
