About Me

I'm a open minded girl from Germany. I study economics and political science and I work as a freelance journalist. I love to discover new places and make friendships. I'm looking for new ideas that could improve the world (at least a bit :) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and expanding my horizon. Plus I love cheap travels. (And as "cheap travels" I don't define just staying somewhere for free but also hosting people from all over the world, as having someone from another culture in your home always is a interesting journey itself).

I guess I developed this passion for inviting people to my place and staying at the place of (former) strangers in secondary school, when we started to have youth exchanges to other countries. I participated in every single that was available! This way I went four times to France, twice to Italy, once to Isreal, Russia and Finland. Afterwards I went for an exchange year to Brazil and when coming back we hosted a girl from Argentina and two years later one from Mexico for one year each. Since I'm not living with my parents anymore I'm more active on Couchsurfing, both when traveling and also when I'm back home in Cologne.

Interests

Actually I can be passionate about almost every topic in the world. It just depends on the context. I love new ideas and different perspectives on issues. I love philosophical questioning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of things... I think the most crucial one: Living abroad, alone. It led to tons of other stories, experiences, memories to share and amazing plans for the future :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories out of Europe and South and North America, creative ideas, profound discussions, true laughter.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills! I love to cook, especially if its not just for myself. Storys from all around the worlds, travel contacts/possible hosts in Europe and South America, irrespective opinions on topics that matter to you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States
