Overview
About Me
I'm a 27 years old boy from Germany who wants to travel the world and the seven seas. After I've had something like a first date with all continents, I want to become acquainted with them. With the culture, the people, the countryside.
Since April 2017 I'm married to the girl that brought me to Couchsurfing (Alexandra Schlack). I finished my studies in German and Sports this year and want to become a teacher. By the way I'm a sportswriter who loves all kind of sports and especially writes about basketball, tennis and football.
I'm openminded (like nearly everyone in Couchsurfing), funny (hopefully) and ironic. My wife thinks that I'm intelligent but also a smartypants (I guess she's right. Sometimes).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So Alex introduced me to this "Couchsurfing-Thing" and now I'm infected by the spirit of this community. We met so many crazy and lovely people in Australia, Europe, Asia, South America and even in Germany thanks to Couchsurfing (so most references for us both are at the profile oft my wife).
For me there is no better way to learn something new about a culture and meet different kind of people then at Couchsurfing. I don't have to see all sights of a city or a country. I prefer to have good talks.
Interests
I'm very interested in all kinds of Couches. Big ones, small ones. Cozy Couches, uncomfortable Couches. I want to see them all.
By the way I'm crazy about sports. Crazy about practice and watch all kinds of sports especially football and basketball (Big surprise for a Sportswriter). I love to read all kinds of books, talking about history and all this stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like nearly all kind of music. In Germany I mostly listen to some Indie/Rock/Alternative stuff but I'm open for new things. For example: I liked the Cumbia in Argentina where I lived a half year altough I cannot dance. But I try to ;)
Movies? It's like music. I don't favor a genre.
Books? I study german language so I like german books. Musil, Schnitzler, Heyse. Kind of boring? Okay, I also like Fiction, especially from Sweden and these Nick-Hornby-like-books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sounds a bit kitschy but: Marrying the girl of my dreams.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the german language because obviously I'm an expert in it. And I can teach you how to be a "die hard" supporter of a football club who relegated five times in the last 15 years. I would like to share my optimism and luck.
Learn? Your language. Music (playing an instrument or dance). New sports.
